Forex Trading Risk — Indian Traders
Most Forex brokers reviewed on this site are offshore platforms not regulated by SEBI or RBI. Trading Forex through offshore brokers from India may be inconsistent with FEMA 1999 and RBI Master Directions on Foreign Exchange. Retail Forex trading on international brokers carries both financial risk (you can lose your capital) and regulatory risk (potential legal implications under Indian law). Consult a SEBI-registered financial adviser before depositing funds.
MT5 Built-in Indicators
MT5 ships with 38 built-in indicators -- 8 more than MT4. The additional indicators include enhanced Bill Williams indicators and more moving average variants. All are free and available immediately without any download.
Key additions vs MT4: DEMA (Double EMA) and TEMA (Triple EMA) reduce lag compared to standard EMA. Vidya and Adaptive Moving Average respond dynamically to volatility conditions. For most retail forex traders, the core set (EMA, RSI, ATR, Bollinger Bands, MACD) available in both MT4 and MT5 is more than sufficient.
